Our drafting and presentational expertise combined with our understanding of economic and social issues, our analytical capabilities and our technical and organisational skills mean that we can provide a complete report production service. This service ranges from the conception of the report, it coverage and contents, the compilation of data and other material and the analysis of these through to the design of page layouts, the organisation of translation in all the Community languages and the management of printing.

This range of abilities is the reason why Applica has consistently been chosen by the European Commission to produce a number of its major reports, including:

  • all seven Economic and Social Cohesion Reports on regional developments across the European Union and the policies for narrowing regional disparities, the first published in 1996, the last in 2017.
  • the four Social Protection in Europe reports on developments in social welfare systems across the EU, published by DG Employment and Social Affairs in 1993, 1995, 1997 and 1999
  • the two Panoramas on Women and men in the European Union, presenting a wide-ranging statistical portrait of the differences and similarities between women and men at various stages of their lives, published by the European Statistical Office (Eurostat) in 2002 and 2008
  • three Equality and Non-discrimination annual reports on the legislative and other action taken across the European Union to protect people from discrimination, published by DG Employment and Social Affairs in 2003, 2004 and 2005 on the grounds of their ensure that everyone irrespective of their personal characteristics are treated equally
