The seminar will consider the main findings from the evaluation. It will receive input from a range of experts and people with practical experience. Its aim is to obtain a good understanding of the dynamics and achievements of ERDF support for SMEs & Innovation, by examining such considerations as the thinking behind the Intervention Logic of Operational Programmes, the nature of policy instruments deployed and their effectiveness, the types of SMEs targeted, how enterprises responded to the support they were given, changing patterns of support, the measurement of performance, success factors and weaknesses in the detailed design and packaging of the support.
