This stakeholder seminar is a key step in this ex-post evaluation of Cohesion Policy programmes 2007-2013 in the area of transport. As part of this evaluation the study team has been preparing:

• Case studies of individual Major Projects in the field of transport;

• Case studies of the impact of Cohesion Policy on transport in individual Member States; and,

• A Catalogue of Challenges, documenting challenges that arise in the use of Cohesion Policy funding in the field of transport and best practice in addressing these challenges.

This seminar will discuss and test the emerging findings and recommendations from the case studies, and will test and refine the Catalogue of Challenges. The Seminar will ensure that the evaluation conclusions are based on the best information and insights available and that any recommendations are practical and relevant.

Overall, up to 40 participants will be invited to the seminar, including policy designers and decision makers, administrators and implementers, evaluators, experts and beneficiaries.

The seminar will be interactively structured and consist of plenary sessions and breakout groups. The working language will be English.
