The seminar will consider the main findings from the ex post evaluation of support to energy efficiency in public and residential buildings in Cohesion Policy programmes 2007-2013. It will receive input from a range of experts and people with practical experience. The aim of the seminar will be to test evaluation findings and to deepen the analysis by examining such considerations as the rationale for public (and EU) investment in energy efficiency in public and residential buildings, the relevant arrangements, and the achievements. Ultimately, strengths and weaknesses of public investment strategies, and lessons learned for future policy development, will be discussed. During the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to share their experience, express their views and help identify the main lessons.

Overall, up to 40 participants will be invited to the seminar, including policy designers and decision makers, administrators and implementers, evaluators, experts and beneficiaries.
